ION collective

ION Collective is a professional unorthodox contemporary music ensemble based in Tilburg, founded in 2021 by the singing-violinist Claire Adams, the pianist Toni Inglés, the percussionist Pedro Paixão and the saxophonist Nuno Silva.

We like to experiment with genre-defying concepts and aesthetics, creating subversive experiences and interdisciplinary performance, by connecting sound and movement on top of structured theatrical elements.

Our latest production is “El meu Amor. La meua Mort”.  This musical and theatrical performance, with libretto based on the poetry of Vicent Andres Estellés, offers an absurd, yet intriguing perspective on our deepest questions and fears: love, madness and death.
